Cam Cam’s core originates from the love of babies and children, and a belief that they only deserve the best.
It also comes from an understanding, as an architect, that our surroundings are immensely important to us and influence us profoundly. Cam Cam creates quality, timeless and tactile design for children. We offer poetic products which help create calm and harmonious environments for children.
Cam Cam was founded in 2012 by architect Sara Giese Camre. She fostered the idea of creating a children’s interior company, after her own maternity leave. ’I couldn’t find anything for my daughter’s room, which I felt harmonized with our belief and desire to create a beautiful, yet soothing atmosphere for our child. Sara started creating the products herself and not before long she was sewing products for her friends and friends’ friends.
Sara soon realized there was a market to create children´s products, that also fulfilled both the wishes of child and parent.
Cam Cam Cares – we love babies and children! We care about the environment. We care about social responsibility.
We aim at creating the highest quality environments for babies and children.
Our design philosophy and approach is to create timeless, poetic design, combining tradition with contemporary design. Our goal is to create products with an enduring design and material quality, which will be appreciated for generations to come.
We believe that there is a need for calm and harmonious products for children and babies, as a gentle contrast to to the modern-day life for children, which is full of distractions.
Our products support the peaceful, restful and contemplative moments for children.
We take responsibility for the environment and for our children, which means, taking organic production seriously. We are a GOTS certified company and all our textile production is produced in GOTS certified factories. This is crucial for the environment and crucial for our children and their future.
We take social responsibility seriously, which means ensuring good working conditions for the factories we use, ensuring a proper wage for the workers and a zero child labor policy.
